Argentina 09 - 10

Come back and visit this page to know what's going on in the Andes. The Nimbus 4DM is flying nearly every day.

By cliking on the link below, you will be able to follow the flights live. The trak points are regulary sent ( every half hour) by a Spot beacon which Klaus brings onboard his glider.

The gliders are now back in the box, on the way to Europa. We hope to see you back on this page in november 2010 for new adventures.

Click on this link and you'll be able to follow Klaus' flights on a Google map. Unfortunately, we had to leave all the flights on the same map and it will be rapidly difficult to understand. You'll just have to tick on the date you want to see and it will appear.
Enjoy the flight!

Copilot: Wendelin Hug
Take off from El Calafate. A lot of wind and moisture during the first part of the flight. Blue wave in the north. A very difficult task. Bad visibility forced Klaus to land in San Juan instead of Chilecito. A 2450 km flight was possible.
